Das Keyboard Limited Edition Escape Key Artisan Keycap

In this Das Keyboard + Jelly Key collaboration, each artisan keycap is handcrafted with passion to provide keycap lovers something they will cherish. The base resembles a futuristic space city with the Das Keyboard Chevron floating as if it’s a spaceship. Made by true artisans, each keycap is hand painted and take up to 4 hours to make, not including a 40-hour waiting interval. The keycap base is created by pouring resin into a flat base, and then by hand painting each base with 5 layers of paint and 8 different colors. The Das Keyboard Chevron, which is the icon in the Das Keyboard logo, is created with another mold that is filled with resin and then cleaned, treated, sanded and painted. Once the Das Keyboard Chevron is completed it is placed into a new fixing frame where it is suspended by clear resin.

When the custom keycap is flipped upside down you will find additional time and care was taken to imprint the SKU number and maker's logo. Even the packaging of this keycap is handcrafted with a beautiful wooden box. An engraved aluminum dog tag keepsake is also included. See keyboard compatibility below specifications.
