Das Keyboard uses best-in-class, Cherry MX mechanical key switches that provide tactile and audio feedback so accurate it allows you to execute every keystroke with lightning-fast precision. Its high-performance, gold-plated switches provide the best contact and typing experience because, unlike other metals, gold does not rust, increasing the lifespan of the switch. The Das Keyboard 4 Professional mechanical keyboard is available in both the Cherry MX Brown and Cherry MX Blue switches.
Oversized volume knob & dedicated media controls
With its large volume knob, Das Keyboard 4 allows users to quickly adjust volume while on a Skype call, in a Google hangout, or streaming online music. Long ride to the bottom
Das Keyboards were great once. They were worth every penny of the price. My first Das Keyboard lasted nearly 10 years before I accidentally dumped something in it. My second keyboard lasted "a few years" before unexpectedly dying. My third keyboard was the Q. Dumb idea. I want a *local* API. I don't want to be connected to your servers. Then it broke unexpectedly. This is the last keyboard I will purchase from Das Keyboard. They appear to have abandoned the clicky style I have depended on for decades, and they're all about building cheaper garbage that's "flashy" instead of rock-solid equipment for a professional.
