The glue fails quickly.
The wrist rest is nice, but the silicone pad started bubbling under my left palm after less than a year. A few months later, the silicone pad separated entirely from the left side. As noted by Cody, you cannot re-glue the pad down as silicone is hard to bond. I bought my 5QS from the Daskeyboard store on Amazon. I contacted Daskeyboard expecting my wrist rest to be under warranty. They denied my warranty claim because I purchased the keyboard from them through Amazon, instead of directly from the web store here on daskeyboard.com.

The glue wears out
I like the wrist rest but the glue wears out over time. First the rubber cover will start to bubble and then it peels off from the underlying glue. I suspect it is heat related because the bubbling occurs right where my wrists sit on the rest. I tried regluing it but, for some reason, even Gorilla Glue wouldn't keep the rubber part stuck to the plastic base.
